Do not be mistaken for the title. This book is a comprehensive overview of the planning modifications to your car. While many people change "love" their cars, it is pretty easy sucked into the hole for buying the wrong parts for the wrong reasons. It will not tell you was the difference between a specific gas to another, but it will help you find what you are looking for in quality and features in the products you buy and what products you can be completely avoided.
This book will help cut through the BS in a lot of the aftermarket parts industry and helps you quickly and easily find what you are looking for if you should change your car. Open the book to a random page, and more often than not, you will find some interesting tidbits that you are not necessarily familiar.
Moreover, there is a fairly large (6 chapters) and in-depth discussion on the ECU and piggy-back units, with a detailed look at how to advance the limits of your vehicle with computer technologies. Would be given the authors background, I say this is about to open the eyes chapter, a great resource for more advanced auto enthusiasts.
And while you can not expect the book to say that the special features on how to unlock your old engine and replace it with a high performance monster mother of the mother, it will help you, the online resources to the details the questions you might be preserved. This is a very well thought out book, she covers a wide range of information, but doesn't seem incoherent at all. Helps a lot if they are trying by all the hype that drilling using aftermarket manufacturers. This too is a very easy read and quick to book. Highly recommended!
As a woman who is only a superficial knowledge of cars and the potential they hold, I found this book very useful and simple enough written and very clear language that enabled me as a newbie modder on my own projects without much outside help complete . Definitely A +++++.
